The area under the eyes is very delicate, thinner and contains no oil so it should be treated differently to the rest of the skin on the face. 7. Reduce sugar and salt intake. Sugar can lead to skin problems and inflammation which leads to puffiness and dark circles. Salt produces fluid retention which can increase small capillaries in eye area aggravating dark circles. Pay close attention to your sugar and salt intake.
8. Stop smoking: smoking will also rid your body of important vitamins and it puts poison and toxins into your system which can give you a dark area under your eyes.
